Christmas is now beyond us for another year and I hope you all received the
presents and gifts you expected and more Welcome to Bridgwater and Fairfax
Park on Boxing Day for this 12 o'clock KO with our latest set of 'near'
neighbours Torrington Always a good trip, of course, but hardly to be relished
at this time of year Let the game live up to expectations and nobody will care
anyway We hope for a good sized crowd and a decent day After the past few
weeks that would be a godsend in itself
With Saturday still to go like doing an end of term report before the end of
term you can never quite be sure especially after the vagaries of the mid-season
'break' I trust all is still going well as we look towards what may have to be
done if we maintain the form that has taken us near the top of the Premier for
some months Most is in hand and everything possible would be done to move up a
grade We have set our store out for that It now needs to ensure the
Management, the Players, the Committee and not least all of you who support in
so many different ways continue the vital parts None more so than the
traditional Bridgwater support from terraces and stands that is often worth a
goal or even two on the good days mark my words I hope the odd Xmas tipple has
put you in good voice and the louder the better
One point of reference let the football and the game do the talking too often
currently in the high profile stuff the Managers and you know who they are try
to be bigger than the event Don't need that do we and don't often get it at
this level I've heard it said they would be better off instead cleaning
windows like the poor old buck tooth dead ukalele player's ghost At least a
chammy leather would clean the crap
