Good afternoon as you join us at Fairfax Park for the second home game and third in this hectic season opening to be followed by the bank holiday trip over the Tamar. Look forward to that but first things first and today is Andover. Reverse fixtures from last year when we played early away and later at home with positive results both times. Similar would be ideal today but expect another difficult game 'cause that is what quite rightly this division and the BGB league is all about. As we saw on Tuesday and the results from the first two series of matches the seven replacement sides will make life just as difficult. You will have to earn every point and the right to play each and every game. Best get used to it quickly as we did with the first learning curve last season. Very noticeable the differences of life in the Midland division, from which the Bishop's came, and this. To repeat a different league awaits.
Now time to get to business and earn the right today. Time to win the individual battles and present the platform to win the game. Everything around is geared for that off the field where huge work has been done over the summer, if that's what you call this apology for one we should still be in. So enjoy and please a better performance than Mr Capello has managed to date.
Finally for the perusal of visitors and home supporters alike and the educative examination of today's match sponsor the quote of the day;
"The greatest glory in living lies not in never
falling but in rising every time we fall"
A pint of the black stuff awaits the correct identification Billyboy or cheers, it's on you.
