The new season is already up and running with four Zamaretto League matches played and from Saturday one foot on the first rung of the ladder to Wembley. A classic second half performance at Launceston saw us overcome a two goal deficit to win comfortably by 3 - 2. Not the best way though to give others a two goal start and not something to be repeated. We now face a home tie to Hamworthy United in pursuit of more FA prize money in a couple of weeks time. The league form has been reasonable with a win two away draws and the one defeat to a useful Cirencester outfit. Windsor and Eaton are next on our agenda away on Saturday 05 September. Other upcoming fixtures are elsewhere in this publication which we at the Football Club are pleased to support. Remember it is still not too late to join our annual VIP scheme and receive a free season ticket as well as entry into the prize draw with £2000.00 to be won. We were pleased also to be one of the Bridgwater Flowershow 100 Club (made up of businesses and organisations over 100 years old) and award match tickets to the successful entrant in the show category we sponsored.
We look forward to welcoming you to Fairfax Park. Come on down.
