I am pleased to say that the lads put in a great performance away to a poor Winscombe side on what was a very difficult pitch which i think in all honesty if clubs where not playing catch up because of the games not played i think it would not have been played.
We adapted to the condition much the quicker and went a goal up from a penalty given for hand ball on the goal line with the goalkeeper nowhere to be seen and surprise surprise no red card and not even a yellow, Winscombe got back in the game with a penalty 10 minutes later, for what, only the ref would know, so it was all square at half time.

The second half however was a different story we stamped our class on the game from the start with a great goal from Connor Watts a second from Andrew Forward and then capped off by Connor making it 4 , we then went on to dominate the game creating lots more chances and missing a second penalty which the goalkeeper saved, when yes you guessed it .he took Watts out being the last man and once again no red and not even a yellow card.

This was a superb performance in very difficult conditions but it shows the importance of the training and the closeness of what is a very good squad.
