Paulton Rovers maintained their challenge in third place with a 1-0 victory at Thatcham Town, thanks to Matt Cooper`s goal 12 minutes from time, while Cirencester Town also kept in touch with the leading pack with a comfortable 4-0 win at bottom of the table Bracknell Town. Jody Bevan bagged a brace for the Foresters.
Fifth-placed VT FC recorded a 2-1 home win over Taunton Town with Paul Sales and Marvin McLean, and Frome Town were held to a goalless draw at home by Yate Town.
Third-from-bottom Cinderford Town picked up a point from Bedfont Green in another goalless draw, but Mangotsfield United took the points with a 4-3 home win in a topsy-turvy encounter against Andover who had led 3-2 at the break.
The returning Michael Meaker scored twice for Mangotsfield, Tom Knighton and Kyle Tooze the others – Daryl Charman, Kyle Joryeff and Bobby Swayne for the Lions.
Hungerford Town scored midway through the second half through Steve Cook to win 1-0 at Uxbridge, but Bishops Cleeve's match at home to Gosport Borough and Bridgwater Town against North Leigh were both called off owing to waterlogged pitches.
